The Chetak name carries over five decades of scooter history in India, and Bajaj's electric revival leans into that legacy rather than away from it — metal body panels, a rounded silhouette, and build quality that reviewers consistently call out as a step above most electric scooter rivals. It now comes as a four-variant line-up (C3001, C3503, C3502, C3501) spanning two battery sizes.
The base C3001 runs a 3.0 kWh pack for a claimed 131 km per charge, capped at 70 km/h, and takes 2 hours 55 minutes to charge 0–80%. Stepping up to the 3.5 kWh pack (C3503/C3502/C3501) raises range to 151–153 km. Top speed rises further on the C3502 and C3501 — both capped at 80 km/h — while the C3503 stays at 70 km/h; 0–80% charging takes 3 hours 25 minutes on the C3503/C3502, and 3 hours flat on the C3501.
All four variants share Eco and Sports ride modes, a hub motor with reverse assist, IP67 water resistance, and a colour display. The top two variants (C3502, C3501) step up to a 200mm front disc brake (from drum on the C3001/C3503), full app connectivity, remote immobilisation, over-speed alerts and trip analytics; the C3501 tops the range with sequential rear blinkers and on-cluster document storage.
Ex-showroom pricing runs from roughly ₹1.14 lakh for the C3001 up to ₹1.52 lakh for the fully-loaded C3501, before the central PM E-DRIVE subsidy.
