The Ampere Magnus Neo is an entry-level electric commuter scooter from Greaves-owned Ampere Electric, positioned as a family-friendly, low-seat option for daily city use. It is powered by a 2.3 kWh LFP battery and a 2.4 kW BLDC hub motor, and is offered in a single variant with a claimed IDC range of 125 km.

Priced at Rs 90,999 (ex-showroom) in a single STD variant, with an average on-road price of about Rs 95,089 in most metros. It is the successor to the Ampere Magnus EX and sits below the Magnus G Max in the lineup.
Battery & Range
The Neo carries a removable 2.3 kWh LFP battery pack with a claimed IDC range of 125 km and a claimed real-world range of 85-95 km in Eco mode. Battery life is rated at 1,70,000 km, and it is covered by a 5-year / 75,000 km battery warranty. Full charging takes about 6 hours on the 7.5A home charger (0-80% in 5 hours).
Performance & Ride
A 2.4 kW BLDC hub motor drives the rear wheel with 110 Nm wheel torque, a claimed top speed of 65 km/h and 0-40 km/h in about 6.5 seconds. A 10-inch rear wheel, 777 mm seat height (25 mm lower than the earlier Magnus) and 104 kg kerb weight make it easy to manage in slow traffic, especially for shorter riders.
Features & Safety
Kit includes a 3.5-inch LCD console, all-LED lighting, USB charging port, riding modes, reverse assist, push-button start and 22 litres of underseat storage. Braking is drum at both ends with no ABS; the telescopic fork and dual shock suspension offer basic comfort. A 3-year / 30,000 km vehicle warranty applies.
