Aeroride YB2000

The Aeroride YB2000 is a high-speed electric scooter from Aeroride E-Mobility, the Jaipur-based EV maker founded in 2021. It is offered in three 72-volt battery variants, 26 Ah, 30 Ah and 36 Ah, with a claimed riding range of 80 to 120 km on a single charge.

Power and performance

The YB2000 is powered by a 2,000 W BLDC hub motor with push-button start and a claimed top speed of 75 km/h. It climbs a 13-degree gradient, gets a reverse assist for parking, and shifts through its automatic transmission smoothly. Lean kerb weight of 65 kg keeps the scooter easy to park and manage in city traffic.

Battery and charging

All three variants use a lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery pack: 72 V/26 Ah (1.87 kWh), 72 V/30 Ah (2.16 kWh) or 72 V/36 Ah (2.59 kWh). Charging takes 5-10 hours depending on the variant and charger, and the battery carries a 3-year warranty with the motor covered for 3 years too.

Ride and features

The scooter rides on 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, backed by disc brakes at both ends, a telescopic front fork and hydraulic rear suspension. A digital instrument console, LED headlamp, taillight and indicators, USB charging port, underseat storage and a pillion footrest complete the package.

Price and verdict

Priced between ₹97,100 and ₹1,07,900 ex-showroom, the Aeroride YB2000 targets budget-conscious commuters who want a long-range, feature-loaded daily rider without stepping up to premium EV pricing. It is a sensible first-EV choice for city and mid-distance commuting.
